Guidelines for the Prayer of the Faithful
The new diocesan guidelines for preparing the Prayer of the Faithful are available for download in pdf format - click here to access the Guidelines for the Prayer of the Faithful
"In the Prayer of the Faithful, we pray for the needs of the Church, the world, those in need, and for important local issues. As such, it is the prayer of the whole People of God asking for those things which we know only God can give. When well prepared and well read the Prayer of the Faithful moves the mind and heart to communion with the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit."

Guidelines for the Production of Orders of Service for Single Occasions
Useful guidelines for all who prepare leaflets for single occasions are on the Liturgy Office website (towards the bottom of the page - there is lots of other good stuff here too!). These directives and recommendedations are based on both the requirements of the law and good pastoral practice and experience.
ART AND ARCHITECTURE
The Art and Architecture Sub-committee seeks to support parishes in the development of churches as places of prayer and worship. Their approval is required for most alterations to any church or affecting any church in the Diocese. The Committee should be approached before any application is made to the Historic Churches Committee (see below). The Committee meets 3 times a year to review projects in hand, but usually makes use of electronic communications to give approval or comments within a month for most projects. Parishes considering work should consult Consecrated for Worship. It is most useful if contact is made with the Committee at the feasibility stage of any project.
