The Deanery Co-ordinators are members of the Mission & Unity Diocesan Forum which meets as two committees, for Surrey and Sussex. The Parish Co-ordinators are members of their local Mission & Unity Deanery Forum.

'The Ecumenical Jesus'
The day led by John Bell, Minister of the Church of Scotland, liturgical composer and member of the Iona Community was held on Saturday 27th March at DABCEC, Crawley.

Together to Unity
On 22 May 2004 we successfully launched a new ecumenical resource for parishes entitled "Together to Unity" and many of the parish Mission and Unity contacts from around the Diocese were present on that occasion. The resource pack has been compiled by John Roberts (Adviser for Mission & Unity) in collaboration with Fr Kieron O'Brien, (Episcopal Vicar for Mission and Unity) and the Commission members. It replaces and updates the "Working for Unity" pack which was produced over ten years ago.
The pack consists of four main components:
- A Mission & Unity Handbook for Parishes, 1st Edition - May 2004
- A Mission and Unity Handbook for Parishes - Appendix April 2007
- Collection of Churches Together in England leaflets
- Booklet entitled "Ecumenism for Catholics" by Fr William Steele

Guidelines for Catholics in Local Ecumenical Partnerships
prepared by the Committee for Christian Unity of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales The newly published Guidelines for Catholics in Local Ecumenical Partnerships (LEPs) were launched at a conference at London Colney on the 23rd July. Catholics are very involved in LEPs and similar arrangements in England and Wales . It is the hope of the Committee for Christian Unity that these leaflets will both support present LEPs and encourage the growth of new ones.
